"Commitment is a choice!"

Wednesday, September 26, 2007
6 to 7 pm, AM 1670
Hosted by Eddie D.O.G.

We commit to things because we want to! Think about it... even when we are forced to commit to something, we comply because we have chosen to be obedient towards a person or organization.

OK, so what about the times we don't want to obey but we feel like we have to. Well, the truth is... we are not really committed to something unless we personally choose to be! Sure, our bodies can be physically present somewhere but does that mean we are really committed? Are we truly there; fully present in body, mind, & spirit?

Join Eddie D.O.G. (Disciple Of God) as he & the Generation Connexion crew explore what it means to be a committed man & woman of God!!! We would like to hear from you.

"Does the image of fathers get a bad rap in the media?"

Wednesday, Mar. 21, 20076 to 7 pm, AM 1670
Hosted by Eddie D.O.G.
Guest: Glenn Sacks, Sacks Media Group

In his recent column in Adweek (3/12/07) called Father Knows Best, Glenn Sacks challenges the advertising industry to stop depicting men and fathers as idiots and clowns, and to instead promote positive images of fathers and their interactions with their children. The column also discusses their current protest campaign against a major advertising agency's negative depiction of men.

In this week's show, we talk to Glenn Sacks and he tackles some key questions: Should people have equal rights? Does the media affect the way we think? Do fathers need a more positive portrayal in the media? Is stereotyping others a big deal? Has there been a shift in the way society treats each gender?
