"More than nuclear - the spiritual challenge that North Korea poses"

THIS WEEK'S TOPIC: Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2006, 6 to 7 pm
Hosted by Eddie DOG (Disciple of God)

North Korea has been hogging the headlines lately. The nuclear threat to the security of its neighbors, as well as to the United States, is a crisis of armageddon proportions. But hidden underneath the headlines is a bigger crisis that is pervasive in that isolated country.

God is being persecuted in that country. To believe in Jesus Christ is enough reason to be prosecuted in that god-less state. What can we do as Christians to help the plight of God's people in North Korea?

This is the topic that the Generation Connexion crew headed by Eddie DOG tries to resolve this week.Tune in Wednesday at 6:00 pm.

"To judge or not to judge?"

THIS WEEK'S SHOW
Wednesday, October 4, 2006, 6 to 7 pm
Hosted by Eddie DOG (Disciple of God)

As we go about our daily lives, we encounter many kinds of people and the things they do that we really don't happen to agree with. They could be our friends, they could be people we see on TV or they could be people our friends told us about. Many times we find ourselves making a quick judgement regarding these people. But should we?

Thinks about situiations that have happened in your lives when you encountered actions that you really thought was not cool.

The question is this: "When is it OK to judge people and when is it not OK?"

Tell us your what you think. Share it with us at this week's Generation Connexion.

"Did you REALLY get confirmed?"

THIS WEEK'S SHOW
Wed., September 27, 2006, 6 to 7 pm
Hosted by Eddie DOG (Disciple of God)
In-house Guest: Alana Antolak, Actress and Model

Many of us got confirmed at our local parish during our senior year in High School. It is during this sacrament when the Holy Spirit comes upon us, touches our lives and keeps our faith burning.

Right after confirmation, most of our youth are burning with the Holy Spirit - they are brimming with spirituality. But after high school, the story more often than not changes.

A recent article in ParishWorld.net talked about a study that reported six out of ten twentysomethings were involved in a church during their teen years, but have failed to translate that into active spirituality during their early adulthood.

The question is this: When you received the Sacrament of Confirmation, did you really "confirm" your belief and love for Jesus, our Lord?

Tell us your what you think. Share it with us at this week's Generation Connexion. Call in with your comments and join the fun.

Or you can post your comments right here and get it read on the air by Eddie DOG.
