Should men be treated the same as women when victims of domestic violence?

THIS WEEK'S SHOW

Domestic violence is a social problem that affects many families in the world today. It is a crime in most countries including the United States. Victims of domestic violence are mostly female but it is not uncommon to see male victims of domestic violence as well.

Should male victims be treated differently from women victims when it comes to domestic violence. Should male victims be treated less favorably just because they are men?

Of course! My dad is a nice guy and ends up beat up by my mom all the time. He just takes it. He is a victim even if he is a man. I wish they would stop hurting each other.

What is the logic behind this bill? I'm female and I don't get it.

Abuse is bad, male or female, it's not cool.

Father is right. Females can be vicious because we are more passionate and we really get into it.

I was a victim of domestic violence until I had the courage to leave. It is not a good feeling. Male or female, I pity those who are going through it. The law should protect us all equally.
