I really believe that when a child has parents that are not together, our society tends to treat the father as if he was somehow less of a parent! A lot of people tend to think that if necessary to choose between the father & mother, that the child should always stay with the mother! I don't think that's fair!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32740495.post-13015681963939775842007-03-28T15:38:00.000-07:002007-03-28T15:38:00.000-07:00unfortunately fathers in today's media have been p...unfortunately fathers in today's media have been portrayed very poorly!!
you no longer see the image of a father in a positive way - yeah al bundy a perfect example along w/the simpsons, family guy and many other shows are teens are watching and love -and therefore see this negative image.
there are not many positve images of fathers in the media as there use to be...for examlple; bill cosby, full house(danny, jesse & joey).

this media & society of ours has done a great job of distorting the image of both father (and mother).

even with our Hevenly Father has the image been distorted:
in John 8:41-44...
I have been misrepresented by those who don't know me.

I am not distant and angry, but am the complete expression of love. 1 John 4:16

i believe the image/relationship we have with our earthly influences our image/relationship with that of our heavenly father.
-jackie b-Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32740495.post-33571564121179363282007-03-26T14:42:00.000-07:002007-03-26T14:42:00.000-07:00I think Glenn Sacks' article is very important and...I think Glenn Sacks' article is very important and should be read by many people because like Kevin said he never noticed it.
