Guest: Glenn Sacks, Sacks Media Group
In his recent column in Adweek (3/12/07) called Father Knows Best, Glenn Sacks challenges the advertising industry to stop depicting men and fathers as idiots and clowns, and to instead promote positive images of fathers and their interactions with their children. The column also discusses their current protest campaign against a major advertising agency's negative depiction of men.
In this week's show, we talk to Glenn Sacks and he tackles some key questions: Should people have equal rights? Does the media affect the way we think? Do fathers need a more positive portrayal in the media? Is stereotyping others a big deal? Has there been a shift in the way society treats each gender?
