Moving for the Passage of Prop. 85 - Parents' Right to Know

THIS WEEK'S TOPIC:Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2006, 6 to 7 pm
Hosted by Eddie DOG (Disciple of God)
In-studio Guest: Astrud Bennett-Gutierrez, Hispanics for Life & Human Rights

Proposition 85 is one of the most important issues in the ballots on Election Day, Nov. 6, 2006. This proposition requires that parents be notified before their minor daughters can have an abortion. This is a pressing issue in our country today because under the present laws medical providers to children need to get parental notification before administering any medication - including an aspirin. But not for an abortion.

This is the topic that the Generation Connexion crew headed by Eddie DOG tries to resolve this week. Tune in Wednesday night at 6:00 pm. Call in with your comments and join the fun.

"More than nuclear - the spiritual challenge that North Korea poses"

THIS WEEK'S TOPIC: Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2006, 6 to 7 pm
Hosted by Eddie DOG (Disciple of God)

North Korea has been hogging the headlines lately. The nuclear threat to the security of its neighbors, as well as to the United States, is a crisis of armageddon proportions. But hidden underneath the headlines is a bigger crisis that is pervasive in that isolated country.

God is being persecuted in that country. To believe in Jesus Christ is enough reason to be prosecuted in that god-less state. What can we do as Christians to help the plight of God's people in North Korea?

This is the topic that the Generation Connexion crew headed by Eddie DOG tries to resolve this week.Tune in Wednesday at 6:00 pm.

"To judge or not to judge?"

THIS WEEK'S SHOW
Wednesday, October 4, 2006, 6 to 7 pm
Hosted by Eddie DOG (Disciple of God)

As we go about our daily lives, we encounter many kinds of people and the things they do that we really don't happen to agree with. They could be our friends, they could be people we see on TV or they could be people our friends told us about. Many times we find ourselves making a quick judgement regarding these people. But should we?

Thinks about situiations that have happened in your lives when you encountered actions that you really thought was not cool.

The question is this: "When is it OK to judge people and when is it not OK?"

Tell us your what you think. Share it with us at this week's Generation Connexion.

You tell us. We would like to hear from you. Let us know what you think and we will discuss your comments on the air. Please sign your comments with your first name and the the city where you live.
